Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American Vietnamese entrepreneur living in Orange County California. With my wonderful partner JP as well as my happy dad Henry. A majority of my followers are familiar with me from my Instagram @annephung. I record my personal life: the highs, the lows and everything inbetween. I moved to America with my family and brothers in 1990 when I was one and a half years older. I wouldn't be here sharing my life with you if it weren't because my parents are devoted to hard work and sacrifice. To give them an opportunity to live a successful future, I focused on my goals and worked hard to achieve it. In my mind, I could see the path I wanted to take for life. Go to college and then graduate. Get married. Purchase a home. Have kids. My plan for success was to go to college to graduate, then get an employment in a corporation. I would then marry then buy a house, and have kids. Life had other ideas. The amount of money I earned and the importance of my work didn't make me feel happy. I was convinced that I had wasted my time for a paycheck. As I began to move toward a new direction in my life, I realized the importance of personal training and that's the career path I was looking for. I'm a sucker for fitness, and I love being in the company of people and am eager to help people. In this year, I am celebrating my 7th Anniversary. In 2014 I began my own business. There are a few Asian women in the industry. I strive to be a positive influencer within the business to offer the best coaching and guidance to help people to live a more healthy and happier person by establishing an environment that is sustainable and meets the individual needs and desires. Furthermore, I try to inspire others to pursue the goals they have set for themselves in order to achieve whatever they would like to accomplish. In the beginning of my profession, the loss of my mom was the most devastating loss to me. To be in Heaven she rests now after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. However, I carry the memory about her each day. The lessons of life are often hidden from us, but they can be highly beneficial. It was my mother's unexpected death that shaped me forever. It was a true blessing. that it provided me with a chance to live my the next stage of my life. The day she died in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was an opportunity for her to begin an entirely new chapter. To me, it was my second chance to live a full and happy life. The thing I'm feeling now at the age of 30 is a feeling of aliveness and awareness. It's like that I'm living my life, and not just existing. I am sharing my experiences to you with the hope that you can resonate with my words and experiences so that you can know that you are not alone, for you to know that you are far more capable than anything else you put your heart into. that true love exists that therapy is normal and needed to be healthy is truly the greatest form of wealth. Since death is the only thing there is in this world I want you to enjoy living your life to the fullest and leave with no regrets.
