Jennifer Garner was born on 17 April 1972 in Houston, Texas but was born within Charleston, West Virginia. William John Garner is her father. He worked as chemical engineers for Union Carbide. Her mother Patricia Ann taught at a local college. She earned a degree with a chemical engineering degree to follow her father.
